Celebrating Steve LaFlamme’s Remarkable 45-Year Tenure with Oneida

Oneida Realty Company bids a heartfelt farewell to Steve LaFlamme, who has retired after an extraordinary 45-year career with the firm. LaFlamme’s retirement marks the end of an era, acknowledging his profound impact on its growth and success.

Steve LaFlamme’s tenure with Oneida Realty is a story of dedication, leadership, and commitment. Joining the company over four decades ago, LaFlamme became a central figure in shaping its trajectory. His role as President was marked by significant achievements and contributions, both within the organization and in the broader community.

After more than 45 years of dedicated service, Steve LaFlamme has earned a happy and well-deserved retirement from his role as President. Though it is with immense gratitude and mixed emotions that we announce his retirement, we know that Steve’s legacy and positive impact on Oneida will live on.

Steve began his journey with Oneida bringing an unparalleled passion for the company and its team. Throughout his tenure, he embodied our core values of transparency, honesty, and respect. His leadership was defined by unwavering commitment to open communication, straightforward dealings, and consideration for all. Steve’s strategic vision and steadfast leadership guided Oneida through years of growth and success. He led by example and empowered others to achieve their full potential, with his mentorship and wisdom shaping countless careers within Oneida.

LaFlamme’s influence extended beyond Oneida Realty, as he played an active role in local, state, and national building owners and managers associations. His service on boards such as the Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX), the Downtown Waterfront District, and the Duluth Parking Commission highlights his dedication to community development and economic progress.

Peter Alworth, Owner of Oneida Realty Company, praised LaFlamme’s contributions: “There’s a reason Steve was part of the Oneida team for nearly half a century, and that’s because he has been an effective leader in our industry and in the community.
